Why I Started MoovWave

Hi, I’m Warren. If we’ve met before, you’ve probably heard me say this a lot:

“My friends always ask me, Warren, why did you start MoovWave?”

So here’s the story.

It really started from personal frustration. I love water sports, but regular sunglasses just didn’t work for me. I kept running into the same two problems.

First, they sink. Every time I’m in the sea or doing anything water-related, there’s always that worry that they’ll fall in and disappear forever.

Second, they don’t fit. Most sunglasses out there just aren’t made for Asian face shapes. The nose bridge doesn’t sit right, the frames press against your cheekbones, and they slide down easily, especially when you’re sweating or moving around.

So I started thinking:

What if we could make sunglasses that were actually designed for people like us?

Sunglasses that float, fit well, and still look good?

At the same time, I knew I didn’t just want to create another product. I wanted the brand to stand for something bigger. I care deeply about the ocean. It’s where I find peace, joy, and energy. But it’s also heartbreaking to see how polluted it’s become — plastic waste everywhere.

That’s why sustainability became a core part of MoovWave.

We’re not just making better sunglasses. We’re doing it in a way that’s kinder to the planet. Every decision we make is guided by this.

MoovWave is built for outdoor-loving, water-loving, adventure-seeking people.

But it’s also for those who believe that small changes, like choosing better gear, can make a difference.
